Philips 'Senseo Station'
The idea is as simple as effective. Thesenseo stationis a storagebox for the various padholders of the Senseo machine.
By any standard machine, 2 Senseo padholders are delivered. One for a cup of coffee and the other for two cups of coffee. Meanwhile, there are many new padholders added as the padholder for chocolate, espresso and tea.
The various padholders often swing by the kitchens of many Senseo user. There was nothing so far for padholders where they could easily be stowed.
The innovative design allows the padholders in three different hostels. Do you have more than three padholders? That's no problem.
TheSesnsei Station is easily stackable. The design is simple but tight in every kitchen appliable and it is easy to keep clean.
Sofia coat stand
In collaboration with Maarten Baptist
It is an everyday object. A pole with a few coat hangers sticking through it - that's all it is. And practical as well: because the coat hangers can be hung onto each other, this coat stand is also perfectly suited for blazers or delicate suede jackets. An idea can be that simple. Just as simple as its execution. The Sofia is one of those unique products that make you think: 'Haven't I seen that before somewhere?' The sparse details have been worked out to perfection.
Its iconic shape gives this coat stand a modern appearance, while its playful applications make it accessible to a broad public. Because its production has been moved to the location of its market the Sofia has a local image. Design global, produce local is the simple and effective philosophy behind the Sofia.
Scotch & Soda
Scotch & Soda came up with the idea to pimp the traditional coat hanger. Daniël Watze was asked to manage and organize this project . The final result of 150 different coat hangers by 10 different designers was presented at Scotch & Soda. All 150 of these coat hangers are unique and Scotch & Soda already asked for some to be put in exclusive production. See the pictures for some of the end results and the presentation at Scotch & Soda

Gaaf
This Wheelchair was designed during my final exam at the Design Academy in Eindhoven. The aim was to design a wheelchair not by looking at the handicap of the user, but by looking at his or her identity. The wheelchair is easy to change to any kind of identity without any extra costs. The wheelchair is in production at Veldink Wheelchairs.
Baobab
Baobab is a cuddly shaped like monkey bread, which is the fruit of the baobab tree. The Baobab is an anthroposophical cuddly toy, which can also be used as an ergonomic pillow
